The RT on 2005: (thermic Rule on 2005) 
 
It aims at a better mastery of the energy in buildings by improving of at least of 15 % the reference consumptions of the new constructions with regard to the RT2000

It is applicable to all the new constructions the licence of which to build was deposited from 1/09/06

 
All the buildings have to respect a minimal threshold of energy performance in the following domains:
Heater, air conditioning, production of sanitary warm water, Ventilation;  lighting

The type of construction is too taken into account to estimate the decreases:

Floors,  walls, ceilings, Joinery

It tends to use:

* The renewable energies (solar energy etc.)

* The bioclimatic conception (orientation etc.)    

 The thermal study and the diagnosis of energy performance ( DPE) are compulsory summaries.

The RT on 2010 (Thermal Rule on 2010) or the RT on 2012 (Thermal Rule on 2012):

It is the same rule which follows in previous and at present current, the RT on 2005.

The Ministry of Ecology, Energy, of the Sustainable development and the Town and country planning works on thermal rule on 2012 which has to replace the RT2005 and allow a bigger optimization still of the energy efficiency of the constructions

The DPE: (diagnosis of Energy Performance): the diagnosis of energy performance has for usage to inform the future occupant of an immovable property of the consumption and the energy savings which he can realize with simple gesturesas a supplement to the improvement of his accommodation

There is a multitude of not expensive or little expensive measures allowing to save some energy and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

These measures concern:

Heating, air conditioning, Production of domestic hot water Ventilation, Lighting

Label HPE 2005 ( Energy High performance): it corresponds to a conventional consumption of lower energy of 10 % in the conventional reference consumption of the regulations RT on 2005

Label THPE on 2005 (very High-performance Energy): it corresponds to a conventional consumption of lower energy of 20 % in the conventional reference consumption of the regulations RT on 2005 

Label BBC 2005 ( energy Low consumption):

This level aims at a consumption very strongly lower than the statutory energy consumption with: 

A level of requirement propped up for the residential on 50 kWhep / m ² in primary energy by taking into account the consumptions of all the manners (heating, cooling; production of domestic hot water, ventilation and lighting) and declined according to the climatic zones of the RT2005 and the height of the project of construction
